Meet me between the moors and the shores at our home in Liskeard, Cornwall and join the community of women who come to experience the magic of Sacred Kernow.

Sacred Kernow Retreats are unique portals of reflection and transformation. They weave together my 20+ years as a social justice activist and women’s empowerment facilitator. They are centred around my passion for the power and potential of women gathering in an extended retreat container.

The Imbolc Day Retreat is an opportunity to celebrate the turning of the Celtic wheel of the year into Imbolc. Imbolc marks the midway point between the Winter Solstice + the Spring Equinox. The word "imbolc" means "in the belly of the Mother," because the seeds of spring are beginning to stir in the belly of Mother Earth.

Imbolc is most closely associated with the Celtic Goddess Brigid, who was celebrated as the goddess of learning, healing, the smitharts and fertility. Spiritually, Imbolc is a reflective time to look deeper into your goals and intentions for the coming spring.

On this retreat, you will experience:

• a women’s circle including a deep dive into the history of Imbolc and the archetype of Goddess/Saint Brigid

• construction of your own Brigid’s cross

• a visit to a holy well - one of the sacred places associated with Brigid - to receive the Brigid Rites of Passage

• a Closing of the Bones Rebirth ceremony 

• a closing nature offering ritual to honour the seeds you are planting for 2025.

You will receive gifts throughout the day, nourishing food and drink and plenty of space to connect with yourself and the community of women who have gathered for the retreat.

You will have access to a retreat-specific WhatsApp group before and after the retreat and it is also my commitment to support and nourish you from the time you book on to long after you have attended a Sacred Kernow experience. 

To keep each retreat intimate and meaningful, there are places available for only 10 women.

If you are travelling to attend the retreat, there is the possibility of staying in our home the night before and/or after the retreat for £50 per night. Please let me know if you require accommodation.
