Ancient Sparks, New Fires
Story Seeds: Circles of Land and Song
You are invited to an afternoon of storytelling, song, community and connection - to yourself, other like hearted souls and the land.
When, where, who?
We will gather at the carpark for the Hurlers Stone Circles from 1-3.30pm on Sunday, 27th October and proceed to the Hawthorne tree that guards the entrance to this site. Your facilitators, Charlie Edwards and Meghan Field, will hold space alongside this magnificent tree as we explore the symbolism of the Hawthorne via storytelling and song. We will also share a prayer ceremony for the tree to connect with the land and its energy on the day and as an anchor for participants to return to whenever you want.
Why are circles so important?
In our modern world, it's easy to lose touch with the natural rhythms and ancient wisdom that surround us. This gathering is an opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and find inspiration in the stories and songs that have shaped human experience for centuries. By coming together in a sacred space, we can deepen our relationship with the land and each other, fostering a sense of belonging and clarity in our lives.
What to expect?
For transparency, the circle will include the following:
Welcome and calling in the directions
Meditation / Hawthorne Tea Ceremony
Oracle card pull and partner share
Singing and chanting
Storytelling
Community sharing
Prayer Tree Ceremony
Close
What is the cost?
Exchange is £20 and includes all materials. Community spaces are available - if finances would be an obstacle to attending, message us (hello@meghanfield.com) for your free place.

About your facilitators:
Charlie and Meghan believe that everyone can cultivate a relationship with nature and the land right at their doorstep. These circles offer a chance to delve into the stories that have shaped us, deepening our connection to the ancient, magical world around and within us. Together, we can rewrite our narratives, gaining clarity on who we are and how we wish to navigate the world.

She believes the land is alive with wisdom, and by tuning into its rhythms, we can unlock our own forgotten magic.
